日本に帰ってみたら、あちこちで節電を理由に盆踊りその他のイベントが中止になったり時間が繰り上がったりしている。バカな話だ。だってそれでホントに節電になってるの？ 百人集まるイベントなら、その百人が夜に家にいて 70 台のクーラーかけて200カ所の明かりを点して 60 台のテレビ見るよりも、その一カ所に人が集まってアンプと電飾の電気を使うほうが全体としては節電になるんだ、というくらいの屁理屈は即座に思いつく。たぶん裏付けデータだって出せると思うな。そんなの仮定の置き方次第でどうにでもなるんだから。もちろん、そんなので中止その他を決める主催者は、別に本気で節電なんか考えてるわけじゃなくて、なんか世間の「空気」とやらに迎合したいだけなんだろうけど。 (2011/8/28, id)
